The Electric Car Evolved: The Audi e-tron GT at the LA Auto Show

All-electric doesn't have to mean boring. Audi revealed the e-tron GT at the Los Angeles auto show recently, introducing a true all-electric supercar.

Supercar Styling and Handling

The new Audi GT is expertly constructed with lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum components, offering a sleek and light silhouette with incredible high-speed performance and low wind resistance. Its all-wheel-steering, 6.4-foot wide body, and low 4.5-foot stance allow the GT to hug the road, giving drivers solid performance and handling on the track and on the streets.

Lighting Speed and Thunderous Power

This powerful performance model brings you 590 horsepower of quattro all-wheel-drive from twin electric motors fitted directly to the axles. The GT's power can take you from 0-60 mph in under three-and-a-half seconds and up to 124 mph in about twelve seconds. The top speed is just a hair under 150 mph with speed regulator.

Long-Range Luxury

With all that power, you may be expecting a short range between charges, but the new e-tron can take you nearly 250 miles. The GT charges from 0% to 80% in only twenty minutes, giving you nearly 200 miles of range in the time it takes for a relaxing coffee break.

Enjoy a Daring Drive Daily

Although the new all-electric supercar is performance focused and racing-inspired, it still sports four doors and comfortable seating for the whole crew, as well as plenty of cargo space underneath both the rear liftback and the hood up front.

This newest model is Audi's third e-tron, and the brand expects to release twelve fully-electric models by 2025. We can't wait to see what's next!
