The Audi PB 18 E-tron Concept Car Has Been Unveiled

Take what you know about an Audi sports car and electrify it. The brand's latest initiative involves avant-garde design and unparalleled performance that's backed by intuitive, track-ready handling. For those with piqued interest, the team at Audi West Houston has got the details.

Tomorrow's Sports Car

Having been revealed at Laguna Seca, the Audi PB 18 e-tron is already making a following. The body is flat and wide while the wheel arches are feverishly extended. Laser high-beam headlights and dramatic hood dips are just some of the ways the exterior will take you by surprise. Supremely lightweight, the interior offers a cockpit that can be slid laterally if one prefers a central driving position.

This concept was specifically engineered to seamlessly transition from the track to the road and back again. A saga of electric motors is intelligently placed for premier weight balance. Overall, this vehicle's 500-kW maximum output provides 612.2 pound-feet of torque and a 0-62.2 mph acceleration rate of just over two seconds.

As far as the suspension goes, the Audi PB 18 e-tron features front and rear independent suspension with adaptive magnetic ride shock absorbers. Before you know it, drivers of the Energy Corridor, Katy and beyond will get to experience Audi's ingenuity for themselves, and the staff at Audi West Hosuton can't wait to be there for you when the time comes.
